Phil’s garage has 6 jobs.
Job 1 is Mary Smith’s Holden, ABC123 needs a new muffler( $70 ), and an oil change ( $20 ) which Phil will do in 2 hours. Phil charges $30 per hour for his time.
Mary Smith lives at 12 ABC St.
Job 2 is Bill Chan’s Ford, XYZ111, which needs a new motor ( $800 ) which will take Jane 7 hours. She charges $20 per hour for her time. Bill Chan lives at 13 XXX St.
Job 3 : Mary Smith also has a VW, AAA222, which needs an oil change, which will take Phil 1 hour.
Job 4 is Betty Wong"s Toyota, CCC333. This needs the same work as Job 1, which Jane will do in 3 hours. Betty"s address is not known.
Job 5 : Bill Chan also has a Honda, AAA863, which needs an oil change, which will take Phil 1 hour.
Job 6 is arthur Ashe"s VW, GDR458, which needs an oil change, which will take Phil 1 hour.
Each mechanic at Phil’s garage is assigned to a whole job, not a particular part.
Create Phil’s garage as a normalised database
Create queries :
1. List the cars and their owners
2. List the parts for Job 4
3. List the total cost of each job.
